It’s 2 am and we are trying to find a solution to the database overloading issue with our server!

Due to the increase in membership and usage, mySQL keep having data corruption issues. We figured it might be due to MyISAM as it locks the whole table when updating the database. As the load increases, corruption will occur.

After much checks, we did a conversion to InnoDB. InnoDB lock just the row instead of the whole table. Due to the size of the databases, it took this long. We’ll monitor it for the next few days to see if the issue subsides.
